Octavia - Atlanticoby ~GimmoGear

I know I should have been working on my new Celestia, but this Octavia is something particular.

I first sketched her about 10 days ago on my notebook, at school, and liked it. Since then, I have been making at least a dozen of versions, changing something every time, but never feeling really satisfied of the outcome. I threw into this about one or two hours a day, since I started it. And once I managed to get some decent lineart and colouring, I went through an hard time for the background. I couldn't find anything that didn't clash with Octavia. So, I am now fed up with trying and trying again, and I decided to submit it.

Now, the title says "Atlantico". Why? It is the title of a song by the Italian composer Roberto Cacciapaglia. It is a masterpiece, it is the beauty and love and life itself. And it's where I took inspiration for this work.
