Luna, why you so beautiful?
The initial sketch was inspired by the amazing landscapes and breath taking natural beauty of the Dolomites, and the astonishing power of the sea; I have been there both at the end of this summer.
I've tried my best to create something over my standars, to seek my style yet trying to make something more elaborate, and in fact I think it eventually came out better than expected. It can be considered a "remake" of my "Ave Luna", but it is really different for me.
It represents the beauty of the night, the silence, the dark yet luminous sky that you can rarely see if you live in a big, busy, noisy, chaotic city. But if you happen to see that luminous sky, crossed by that sideral trail of stars, and the moon slowly sailing through her deeper sea... You will know what I mean and you will understand what I felt when drawing this piece.
