What got me in the fandom was mainly the massive fanart production. Especially visual art and music. And music is my favourite kind of art, the most powerful, the most ethereal. I have always dreamt to make music, of any kind. I borrowed an electric guitar from a friend of mine, I like to play it, but I am not so good at that. Anyway I enjoy playing some songs I like. I like very different musical genres, from metal to electronica, dubstep, orchestral.
And here we come to the point. I have downloaded this Nano Studio app on my ipad and I am trying to bring to life some music. The results so far are not exactly encouraging, but I've been using it for 3 days, so I plan to learn to use it better. Yesterday evening in a couple of hours I mixed down a first attempt, if you want to listen:
soundcloud.com/promisepegasusThe most depressive fact when you invent a beat is that you find a pattern and you think "wow, I've actually made something original and cool!".
After a few hours, you listen again to your track, and the truth slaps you in the face and you think "wait...wtf is this shit" or "why is this exactly like that xxx song? I noticed it only now!!"
The latter happened to me.
